The
Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance
examination board for tertiary-level institutions. The board conducts
entrance examinations for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian
universities. The board is also charged with the responsibility to
administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and
private monotechnics, polytechnics, and colleges of educations.
All of
these candidates must have obtained the West African Examinations
Council (WAEC), or its equivalent, National Examination Council (NECO).

As
of now, there is no official date fixed yet for the commencement of the
2017/2018 JAMB UTME registration. But going by past trends, we can

would commence sometime in October.

How Much Is The 2017/2018 JAMB UTME REGISTRATION FORM
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has announced that the 2017/2018 JAMB would not need scratch cards for registration.
In
an address made by Professor Ishaq Oloyede, at the National Executive
Council (NEC) meeting of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and
Associated Institutions (NASU) in Abuja, he made it known that the
Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has decided to cancel the
use of scratch cards for all its examinations and as such provide an
opportunity for more students to participate in the examinations and
also ease the application process into higher institutions of learning
in the country.

2017/2018 JAMB UTME REGISTRATION CLOSING DATE
Even
though JAMB has not made any official announcement as concerning the
closing date for 2017/2018 JAMB UTME Registration, going by recent
trends we can predict the 2017/2018 JAMB Registration would close by the
end of January, 2017.
As soon as the official closing date for registration of 2017/2018 JAMB is made known by the board, we’ll update this article.
2017/2018 JAMB UTME REGISTRATION: MODE OF EXAM
The 2017/2018 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam would be 100% Computer Based Test (CBT).
It
is very important that candidates have at least basic knowledge of the
use of Computer as this would serve as a confidence boost as well as
help improve their performance in the Computer-Based JAMB examination.
